who do you think will win the World Matchplay at Wentworth.
i am liking Micheel's game this week, we know he has the game to win on the big stage (unfortunately a health problem, may have stopped him winning more in recent years, but that certainly looks OK now), but can he go head to head with Casey? i personally think Micheel will win this one tomorrow, he doesnt look like being stopped at the moment, and his mental game (very important over 36 holes of matchplay) certainly isn't letting him down. i think it will be very close, but down the stretch i think Micheel can take this one out of Casey's hands.
I think Paul Casey will take the loot when the dust settles. He played very well today. Micheel did as well but I believe Casey looked just a little sharper. It'll be a good game regardless. Simp
Shaun Micheel and his wife have madea number of friends over here. She is heavily pregnant ,but has walked the course every round and has smiled all the way. After each match she has grabbed his cap, told him to sign it and tehn handed it to a youngster. WHen interviewed, she came across as a regular lady with more than her share of class, despite being blond.
They will be very welcome anytime they come over here , even if he does walk off with all the money!

yep, Micheel is very straight with his interviews aswell, and although i think he loses this one now, i don't think he will hesitate to play a bit more golf over this side from now on.
Micheel strikes me as a very genuine and likable guy, with solid golf skills, especially around the greens. I would not be surprised to see him as the next "VJ" - a guy who hits his stride and his best years later than average, and really makes a mark on the tour for the next few years. I've enjoyed watching him the last few tourneys, and he doesn't seem to be intimidated by Tiger. He obviously respects Tiger and all he's accomplished, but he doesn't appear to let it affect how he plays. I look forward to seeing more of him in the next few years.
