If the coverage is from 8am through 6pm on friday and saturday, does that imply that NBC will be tape delaying the matches on those days?

I understand why they do this, but that is going to just ******. I'll know exactly what happened before NBC televises it and I will probably decide to watch it or not based on how close the matches are. It will still take out all the fun out of watching a live event.

I am assuming sunday will be completely live, but that also may not be true.

Try and tune out the media......not that hard to do.

Yep, it's tape delayed on Friday and Saturday, so if we want to get nosey, we can see the results before they come up on TV. However, the coverage will run from 8am-12pm on Sunday, meaning the singles matches will be shown live.

Me personally, I'll just watch it all as it unfolds and forget that it's not really live (like it hasn't been any of the other years the Cup has been played in Europe).

With a check of the Ryder Cup site and using the time difference between the US and Ireland, the Sunday matches should be 1 hr and 45 minutes in when the "live" coverage starts here. I'm not sure how much I like that idea. Here's hoping things get pushed back a little or NBC decides to start coverage a bit early.
