USA I always root for the home team. Hard to do these days with the Astros and Texans playing the way they are.

Of course I hope the US can win one for a change but I don't think it'll happen. We're gonna get trounced.

I really couldn't care less who wins this thing, as long as the play is spirited, exciting, interesting, dramatic and heartfelt. And I'd love to see a ton of grace and class. I predict the home team wins.

Agree Droogy. These events are non events very quickly if one side gets the upper hand. Lets hope foe a nail biting finish. Europe in a close one.

That was part of my thinking in picking USA with 15-15.5 points. Margin might be a little bigger: Tiger's in a better year than he was having 2 years ago, and by taking some American Ryder Cup rookies to dinner recently, he seems more engaged in this event. The Europeans never cease to surprise us in these things, however.

Actually, I wish the event were not being played on an American style course. I like watching golf as it's played on more typical Irish and Scottish courses.

I voted for Europe 15-15.5 because overall I think they are the better team, but It could go either way. I think the outcome will be very much influenced by how well the US rookies play.

Although the Ryder Cup is not my favorite event, (The 4 majors + TPC at Sawgrass) I do watch and enjoy it. I'm not the biggest match play fan but since we do not see match play that often it sure fits perfect for the Ryder Cup and absolutley adds to the thrill of it all.

I'm always so torn who to cheer for.

I was born in Germany but moved to Canada in 1962. I guess deep down I'm always happy when the Euro's win, but its the USA players that I love watching and am attached to.

Anyway I voted that I think it will be a Euro win with 15.5 points.

In the end the best team wins.

On the day before the Ryder Cup starts, USPGA have a tournament for the non qualifiers in Texas.

WHo is leading when the Ryder Cup tees off?

Two Europeans.........................is it a sign???????

I suppose congratulations are in order. I thought that we were in for a good match after Friday. I still love watching these more than just about anything.

Well I over-estimated our guys. I thought the US-style course would have at least kept it close.

Thanks

For what it's worth, I thought the Americans put up a pretty good fight this time round. So many close matches and so many went our way. The US team was much better than two years ago. I thought Lehman did a pretty good job as captain. He had them all playing together as a team for the first time I can remember.

I'm sure you guys will get us back next time.
