Well played guys, didnt realize how good this team really was, dominated us in every aspect of this competition. They're good players out played ours. How about Paddy this weekend though, kinda stinks for him hes the only one who didnt have a record. Good matches though, what a final day to watch, probably the best golf i've seen played in a while. See you guys at Valhalla in 08', maybe our team will be a little better rounded then.

Congratulations to Team Europe and all of its fans on a tremendous Ryder Cup victory. Great players playing great golf.
I must say that I once again underestimated the Europeans. Using the World Ranking list published in the Ryder Cup Preview issue (Sept 15, 2006) of Golf World magazine, I see that the "average" European ranked 23rd and the "average" American ranked 28th. There's more to the European victory than that, of course, but that should have been my clue that the Americans would once again have their hands full.
Congratulations also to the fans in attendance at the event. Except for the fact that the team I was rooting for lost, it was truly an enjoyable event to watch.

After Valhalla, I am really looking forward to the Ryder Cup in Celtic Manner in 2010. Another US style course but its magnificent and its less than two hours drive from my house. I have played it a few times and can confirm that it will be great course for a great event.
Next up I am going to the WGC next week which is being played on my local course. Will see Tiger play for the first time - standing behind him when he unwinds his driver is supposed to be awesome isnt it ?

Well said, although I am very disappointed in the Americans.... they should have put up more of a fight.
Congrats to the Euros - outstanding play all around!
There'll be plenty of time for US fans to second guess Lehman and criticize or wonder why certain players did certain things, but nothing can take away from the fact that the Euro team played great golf for 3 days!
Most of what I was able to see came in the form of highlights, and it seemed like the Euros couldn't miss a putt within 20 feet. Not to mention all the longer ones they drained. And has there ever been so many chips sunk to halve or win a hole? When the US team couldn't keep from lipping out putts, or rolling off into the water, the Euros made the putts and played smart!
The best team won, and the host country did a wonderful job! Congratulations once again to the Euro team, and a big thank you to lovely Ireland!
It's a great time to be a European Ryder Cup team fan and my hat is off to all of you. Enjoy your victory.......you've earned it.
Thank you we will.
It takes two teams to make a match, and there were a number of positives amongst the Amercians. Zach Johnson and JJ Henry should bow to no one , they had winning records and played some great golf. Stewart Cink showed a lot of heart and played beautiful golf to ?slap Sergio for you. Tiger had a winning record so he can not be blamed for the loss.
