Gee Lefty, must have been tough moving away from that area...especially if you ventured towards the likes of Wherwell, Chilbolton, Leckford etc! That whole area is `thatched cottage city` , very pretty area!

I'm delighted everyone had a pary. Not only the teams, but the fans as well. We had ours in the tented village; band playing, beer, coffee, snacking, dancing, singalong (60's music). Fans from both sides; Irish (of course), British (especially Scots, great fun), Spanish, Austrian, Swedes ... and Americans.

Bus back to the Park & Ride .. spontaneous singing contest between the upper & lower decks.

As I said to Tom Lehman at the Britiah Open 05 in St. Andrews, the players can compete like mad, we'll root like mad, and then afterwards we'll make it the biggest golf party in the world.

The fans could party between rounds too; and we did. Entertainment in the tented village (to filter out the crowds)
.

Am already planning trip to Valhalla

it would be great to see this happen more often in the states, no matter what the game is. only live once, so you may as well live it up.
