It`s good to see Davis Love win again. His game has faded some, but I still root for him.I`ve read several articals about him and he seems to be a soft spoken gentleman and all round nice guy.

I agree he would have been an asset, but the way most of the team played he would have had to carry the whole team.

It's nice to see DL3 back in the winner's circle. At his age and with his talent, he certainly shouldn't be done winning titles yet. Hopefully this is a bit of a resurgence for Davis...he seems like one of the good guys on Tour (not that there are too many of them who seem "bad").

It was great to see him win. I thought the other guys were OK, but Love's getting close to 20 wins. And I really enjoyed watching him just play the course and take the pressure so easily.

I admit though, until today I did not know how rarified the air is at 20 wins and over. It seems like if you win 20 or more, you're a major player by definition, based on the way the commentators were talking today. I had never thought of it that way. 20 seems like the threshold.

Nice job Davis!

When you win 20 times, you get a lifetime exemption to the tour

I too, like DL3, and was glad to see a golfer my age still win. I agree that he should have been a captain's pick. Although we would have still lost, it would have been less of a blowout with DL3 there!
