Am just curious as to what his post round interview sounded like, hmmmm.....

"I'm not going to give up," Bove said. "I feel like I'm progressing, I'm getting better, even though my score didn't show it. I just had a bad week, that's it. No more, no less," he said. "I feel like I'm getting better and better. my game is progressing, my shots are actually going to the fairway now. My shots are feeling solid."

could have happened, wouldnt be the first time we have heard this at an event with less than stellar results.

Is this a Wie thread?
The guy shot an average of +36 per round, or +2 per hole.
There is no comparison.

Going for his dream (playing against Tiger Woods) and spending all that money just to say he tried to make the PGA tour.

A bit quick to assume the attack is on Ms Wie. Not EVERYONE's life revolves around a teenage girl.

Hmmm...how did you draw the conclusion that the poster was mocking Ms Wie? Did his comments hit a bit close to reality in her world?

For the record, I think I could have beaten this guy... maybe not by much, but I think I would have beaten him. I just wouldn't be stupid enough to throw away that much money.

That is really an embarrassment. To shoot over 100 each day shows he obviously doesn't belong, and should not have entered. I have seen guys shoot in the 90s for 18 holes in qualifiers, which could be due to just having a bad day.

I checked GHIN.com for his handicap, and there is no record of it. I wonder if the PGA Tour checks this at all.
