Do you think that Goosen may get it back together with his new swing coach? He is in the lead after the first round in the TC. I'd like to see him keep it together.
As would I. Retief is a good guy and a wonderful player...it'd be nice to see him regain his form and challenge in most events like he was doing before.
I hope he is back. He is a wondeful player to watch.
From what I have read he seems to like the course. Like they say horses for courses or is it courses for horses?
Not a bad finish for him. Scott just played lights out this week. But I think Goosen will have a better year next year and win a major. I think going to a swing coach will benefit him and a sub-par year by his standards will motivate him for next year.
Came in third in Asia, behind Tiger, and Yang. He hit his tee shot in the water on 18, and ended up blowing his third round lead. All-in-all, a couple of good weeks lately, maybe he'll come back strong in 07'

It was actually the third shot ( 18th hole is par 5 ) from what looks to be about 100 yards. I remember him missing very short putt and end up losing US Open. He needs to work on finishing the tournament.
Retief had a bad turn of events on the back side today...3 over on the back to finish 3 shots behind. It's good to see him putting himself in position, but he'll need to secure a few W's before he can be considered back on form, IMO.

Agreed here, he needs to finish, but hey, the past couple of events certainly are looking up.

For sure...he's been right there every week lately and is bound to break through. The game is certainly better off with he and Els on top form and challenging in many of the big events.

I love watching Tiger like everyone else, but competition makes it soooooo much better! I don't know of anyone who wouldn't like to see Els, Vijay, Tiger, Phil, Retief, Furyk, and all the rest taking it to the wire week after week!
