Tiger Lately...

I suppose you can say he's picked up right where he left off. Before his recent sabbatical, he was leaving most fields in the dust.

Now he's back, all little rusty, but rested...

Last week, in the almost non-discussed HSBC Champions, Tiger had two terrible rounds and finished in 2nd.

This week at the Dunlop Phoenix, he has a 1 shot lead over Padraig Harrington after going 67-65.

I really enjoy watching Tiger on the course. Not only his shotmaking, but for his course management as well. And don't forget his imagination in recovering from trouble.

Tiger's playing OK in Japan...nothing spectacular. He's only hit 61% of his greens this week so far, so he can definitely improve. The short game appears to be in good working order though. He'll have a challenge this weekend with Harrington, Poulter, Katayama and Rose sneaking up on him. Harrington in particular seems to play well when Tiger is up on the leaderboard.
