Good to have Harrington on form.
Anyway, I predict Harrington will win. Good luck.
i also predict Padraig will win, in a narrow victory of 1 stroke, or maybe a playoff.
i don't think either of them will give anything either way, i fancy a birdie vs birdie and par vs par showdown.
Tiger had his bad round for the week...although it seems like scoring conditions must have been pretty poor. I'm not guaranteeing Tiger will win, but their past histories indicate that it's a pretty likely scenario.
Early in the back nine of the final round, Tiger stands at -9, with Padraig level with Keiichiro Fukabori at -6. Tiger's in good shape...someone will have to do well on the back nine to catch him.
Card, Harrington won it on the second playoff hole. It sounds like it wasn't so much Tiger "choking" as it was Harrington out-playing him down the stretch. He made 3 birdies in the last 6 holes to tie it, then kind of got lucky on the second playoff hole and managed to stiff it to 2 feet from the rough after two poor shots.
The only lesson coming down the stretch that Harrington has enough experience with to teach Tiger is how to finish second
Another great prediction by Leaguegolf ,how does he do it?
Of the events Tiger hs blown when in the lead with a round to play, a high proportion have been on the EuropeanTour or a European player has pushed past him. Out of 45 ish tournaments he has lead/joint lead on last day he has won all bar 5ish of them. Westwood .Bjorn and Harrington have won three of the five.
Hi Dave here, I have been asked to post a message and pictures from Rodney.

How annoying, there was internet available at a stop off airport, yet I could not log into Golf Rewind. Anyway, hopefully my brother will be able to upload this.
I just wanted to put up a message gloating about my prediction and a couple of pictures. If anyway else also predicted it, then well done to them, but I doubt anyone would have. So well done if anyone did.
Many said Harrington wouldn't win and the stats helped their case. Woods did have a 38-3 winning rate when leader or joint leader. He also won 14 of 15 playoffs. I suspected Harrington wouldn't be scared of him though.
Harrington really hunted him down, he played -4 on the back nine. How many players could do that while Tiger was ahead of them, and playing in the same group as Tiger. Great stuff.
Just a couple of photos, please note, Woods should get used to helping Harrington into jackets. The next will probably be a green jacket.
^^ haha you act like hes gonna go on some major run, this is not tiger in his form, not major form, not even pga tour form
Exactly right. Nothing against Harrington, as he is as fine a player out there who is not called "Tiger". But one win does not infer dominance, nor does it count as a streak.
I do believe we'll see Harrington make a rise in the world rankings this next year, maybe even into the top 5, as he has been playing exceptionally well with consistency and control. Will he win a green jacket this year? His best chance for that is to join this forum and make over 1000 posts! Tiger is a different creature when it's a major championship, especially at Augusta.
I only got to see the last nine holes of this tournament, but I wish I`d watched more of it! Not just because of Tiger or Padraig`s standard of play, but also because of the display of respect the audience/gallery had during play in this tournament!
This year I haven`t watched as much golf on the television....and this tournament finally answered the question of why I can`t watch as much of the golf on the television thesedays. The gallery today in Japan didn`t yell one "..you da man" or "..go in the hole"...phrases heard time and time again on the other world tours ...it was so refreshing to not hear that phrase (or a Japanese equivalent) when the players were concentrating on their game! What manners, what eager appreciation and suchlike this gallery had...if only this formula could be bottled and sold the the other tours of the world of golf! It was a real pleasure to watch!
