I'm sitting here listening and laughing at some of his comments on TGC. I wish him continued success. Golf, especially American golf, needs personalities like him.
What did he say? I saw him interviewed on Thursday and he was pretty normal.
Now that you've put me on the spot, I can't think of anything specific. It was just a series of isolated clips that were good-humored and self-deprecating. Nothing particularly Trevino-esque, just a very light-hearted and amusing.

I guess he's probably just less reserved than the typical PGA Tour pro. Give him a few months, somepressure from his sponsors and a Tour win....he'll tighten up!
I like how he said he "roasted a 5-wood" instead of hitting a 3 wood on one of the looooooong holes. He really played well, and is very likeable. I hope to see a lot more of him in upcoming events.
"When asked what, other than golf, he has in common with second-round leader Singh, MacKenzie told the story of how he got his grub on during Friday's early weather delay.
"We both like pasta, [with] marinara, because I ate his second helping ... for lunch. He hooked me up".
Vijay had placed a special order for marinara so there was no other way to get it.
"I don't think he even knows my name," MacKenzie said. "He just calls me Bro. ... I was so bummed because I've wanted to play with that guy forever."
Bummer, dude. But don't complain when someone gives you a free meal ticket
Didn't he also give out his room number after round 1 I believe. I may be wrong, but I think it was him. That skulled wedge shot was something though, I was waiting to see his reaction after the shot.

Yes it was after the first or second round he gave his room number and said it was the "rookie mistake of the year". He also complained it was only men that called him.
Will MacKenzie.... Love watching this guy and he has great personality. I will be backing him for some top5's early in the season and would not be surprised if he can bag a win.
