Cleveland didn't renew the sponsorship. They decreased many of their sponsorships and DToms listened to the other companies.

I guess money talks. Did you read the first line: "Taylormade's Toms" Wow! that's like Tim's dog, or Bob's car. I guess for the right price, you can be anybody's. I'm not saying TM doesn't make quality stuff (I'd love to be outfitted!), just in his bag, he went all TM! I can't imagine changing it all at once. Guess it goes to show it has more to do with the golfer than the clubs, seeing as his "new" clubs helped him shoot the lowest (one day) score of the tourney.
I've always followed Toms and Sutton as I grew up just a few miles from where they are from. Hope he has a good year this year.

I don't know about all of that...Cleveland makes some darn good wedges. Those guys can play with anything though...doesn't matter.

They sure are slow to update their website though. I'm sure that Cleveland will be just fine with Vijay's win. I love their stuff and the way they look. Very clean. Taylormade's stuff is starting to look too robotic IMO.

Anyone see the "in the bag" section for Toms there on the TM website??

Quote:
Driver: r7 460 TP 9.5°
Fairway Wood: r7 TP 15° (3)
Irons: r7 TP (3-PW)
Wedges: rac Black TP 48° (SW); 54° (LW)
Putter: Rossa Imola
Since when did a 54° wedge become a lob wedge?

Is he 1 club short of 14? Maybe he's still playing with a Cleveland 60*.

I guess, geez! It's no wonder some guys 'seem' to hit it such a long ways. His supposed (SW) is one degree weaker than my PW. So when we hear the announcers on TV going "Whoa! He's hitting a SW from 125" all of us at home can be in Aww.

He never had a choice. Cleveland never offered to renew his contract.
