Mickelson pretty much has every shot Tiger has in the bag. Its amazing but theres a handful of guys with the same finesse talent.

Agree , this shot and the drama involved in the set up surely ranks as one of the greatest ever. Just great viewing.

Absolutely correct! The comment above about his shots being like a guided missle are also true.

In tournaments, it is astounding how he can shape shots in congruence with the fairway. I watch other great players who will attempt to fade or draw around trees, etc. and succeed only 50% of the time and when their ball lands it might run off the green or into a bunker.

He's got most of them, but shots like the one at the 2003 Buick Invitational (a low hooking 4 iron from the trees that had a TON of spin on it and stopped within 15 feet of the hole) or the 3 iron from the bunker at the 2002 PGA are the types of shots where Tiger's clubhead speed advantage truly shows. Mickelson has admitted in the past that Tiger has a clubhead speed at least 10 mph faster than his. That's where his infamous "Nike bashing" comment came from, which of course was taken way out of context by the media given that he was merely trying to compliment Tiger's talent. Around the greens though, they're pretty much even in my book (if not a slight edge to Phil).

And if we go back about 10 years, you would REALLY see a significant difference between Tiger and Phil's distance. Tiger was outdriving his peers by a mile back in the late 90's and even in the early 2000's, but technology has helped close the gap quite a bit.
