Just wanted to get set up early for the upcoming onslaught of Wie-bashing and Wie-defending that accompanies her appearance in a "men's" tournament.
I gues this is traditionally considered her best chance at making a cut in a PGA event. Wonder how school has been, and if she got in some good practice over the holidays? Will she be able to keep it in the fairways and make those crucial putts?
Will she get as much airtime Thursday and Friday as every other group, or will it look like the Wie Channel?
Oh Rodney C... come out , come out, wherever you are.
where has he gone? i can guarantee he (or his brother) will be around for this thread to get kicked off, i love it.
by the way i reckon she will miss the cut by 4-5 strokes, and the Wie fans will say that the wrist cost her those strokes, otherwise she may have won it.
.....y`know that film Groundhog day where Bill Murry keeps re-living the same day over, and over again......well, that`s what the M. Wie threads feel like to me!
she was on the Golf Channel last night showing her on the range with a bandage on her hand. the injury apparently occured in October when she hit off a cart path a couple of times, then again at the Casio when she had to hit out of some heavy rough. we'll see!

At least Bill Murray kept getting it better each day and eventually got it right in the end, but Wie seems to have been going the wrong way in relation to the cut line...first by 1, then a couple....last time out? Dead Last if I recall... Time to win against her own gender and get confidence before trying again IMO.

As a big fan of hers, I must admit that's one of the better shots I've seen taken at her ongoing saga.
