Thanks guys............. let's get our thinking caps on for next week !!
gonna have to do both sides next week. ill put the European tour up on a weekly basis, you do the U.S. and someone else will do the LPGA im sure, get some discussion going week by week.
Donald is in the last group and needs to close the deal to establish his credibilty. He has moved on last year to a credible MAjor winner, but needs to close the deal in normal tournaments to confirm his status. He only has one win over four days in USA and needs to post some more to gain confidence for Major Sundays.
Howell is even less used to winning so the main threat should come from Furyk on 8 under ,but four shots is a lot to make up . 67 should be enough for Donald.

Not with me, he doesn't. If he doesn't close the deal in this tourney doesn't mean he won't post his share of wins in the future. Way more pressure on Chucky Three Sticks but one tourney isn't the end of the world.

Good call Shade. What a disaster for him. This one is going to sting for awhile.
No surprise coming from Howell. He may not establish himself as a top player until he's in his 30's. He's a gagger and these types of performances stay with him.
Luke put far too much pressure on himself in hopes of showing he's a legitimate gun. The usually-steady Donald hit a surprisingly low number of quality irons on the inward nine.
Fortunate Goydos was left to pick up the pieces. He can use the dough.
Of the three, Luke is far more likely to return to the top of a PGA TOUR leaderboard. He'll win this year.

I agree there. Luke has a lot of game. I see him being very competitive on all but the very longest of courses and in the majors (especially the US Open) for quite a while.
Wow what a choke fest down the stretch. Luke is a great player though. That was crazy when he hit the pin on the last shot to almost tie it up with an eagle!
What did you guys think of Luke's chip on 18 ? The consensus on TV was that it would've dropped if he'd pulled the pin. I thought it was going much too fast.
I think that it was going too fast, even if the flag were out, it would have sailed past most likely. I was hoping it'd drop in though, seeing as how I had Luke this weekend on my yahoo team.

I like watching Pagunsan (they need to learn how to pronounce his name)...always smiling, looks much younger than he really is and played steadily when I've watched him. Do you know if we'll be seing more of him on the PGA Tour?
