I would imagine that there are a lot of players hoping that Tiger has a few more kids over the next several years. ;)

Els or Vijay should be a good contender for one of the majors.

I would say that DiMarco has a realistic shot at a major. I would say that Augusta is his best bet considering his recent play there.

Maybe this is something to think about...Tiger's baby is due this summer...about the time that the majors get into full swing. I'm guessing that he'd rather be at the birth of his child rather than play so it's entirely possible that he may not play in one of the summer's majors this year. Either The Open Championship or the PGA Championship.

We definitely can't rule out VJ or Furyk either.

But having said that...I'm predicting that El Tigre will be the first man in history to win the modern day Grand Slam. He wants to put to rest the "Tiger Slam". It seems that the Tiger Slam wasn't good enough for some. JMO

Serg could win a major if he could get his head out of his rear and start putting like a golfer.

I look for:

Clarke
Harrington
Dimarco
Mickelson

I really wish that Tiger wouldn't win a major at all this year and that guys would step up and make golf worth watching again, but I doubt that, seriously. I'm going to pick Dimarco in the Masters (He's been in the last group like 3 out of the last 4 years if I remember correctly) in my fantasy golf league. Then I'm leaning toward Mickelson in the US Open (To rebound after the debacle last year). Then I might pick either Clarke or Harrington (The two best yet to win a major???) in the British.

Ogilvy and Goosen are going to be on the leaderboard of probably all the majors this year. Watch out for both of them.

Just like I doubt that you'll seriously stop watching the "not worth watching" golf tournaments.

I'll watch all the majors, plus I'll tune in from time to time durring regular tourny's. I'm in fantasy golf so I kind of have to pay attention to things.

One pick a week, no repeat picks. I can't pick Tiger every week.

so, who apart from tiger (Tiger may take all 4 if hes in the mood) takes one of the 4 Majors this year.
name 5 players.

Jimenez (more than capable if hes having a good week on the greens)
DiMarco (why not?)
Garcia (can he?)
Olazabal (Perhaps the Masters, if the best of Tiger doesn't show up)
Harrington (he should be there or there about's in atleast one of the Majors)

Obvious choice would be Mickelson, but does the real Mickelson turn up this year in the Majors?
I think VJ will win one and I'd like to see Dimarco and Furyk win majors this year too. Tiger will probably win a couple.
