I honestly wish that Monty could find the fire inside and win a major. Hopefully the Open Championship, so it would happen in front of a ´home crowd´.
He´s been so close that it´s almost heart breaking and must have taken a toll; his 4 years younger than my dad but looks at least ten years older.

Apart from Monty, probably Singh, Casey, Howell, Donald, Els... who knows, maybe Brandt Snedeker qualifies and wins the Masters.

I'm doing my last research on my fantasy league tonight before I turn in my picks for the entire year.

Monty lost to Els in a playoff at Oakmont the last time the Open was held there. Also, Ryan Moore shot a 65 in one round when the amature was held there back in 03'. Big time sleepers for that venue, ya think.

I think phil will make up for his end of round disaster last year and win the masters and i think dimarco will win a major,i would love to see monty do it but a major seems like a carrot on a stick to him.

I think DiMarco has the best chance honestly.
Then, Lefty will probably make up for choking last year.

I like Mike Weir to win the masters again.

I think Howell can win one this year as long as he keeps his cool. I also think Geoff Ogilvey will make a run at one.

Given Vijay's performance so far this year, I think it is an easy pick to say Vijay is likely to win at least one major. Given Tiger's recent performances, if he can keep his putter on track and recapture his mental toughness, he is a shoo in for at least two.

Robert Allenby is really coming good at the right time. He has been a model of consistency this year. I fancy his chances at Augusta.
