Tiger is only about six feet even. There aren't many golfers currently on tour above 6"4" and there are plenty under six feet.

Tadd may actually make the cut...

Thru 11, he's -2 today, -1 for the tourney, and the cut has dropped to +1.

Good to see him get that eagle, I wonder if he'll be getting a call from Tiger about his fist pumps lol.

Wow !! ... a 15 footer for eagle on the last to finish with a 66 and -3 for the tournament, well under the cut line. It looks like we're going to have our "local teen makes good" storyline after all. Go Tadd !!

this kid can score, im not predicting a top 10 or anything silly, but if he can make the top 25, it would be absolutely magnificent.

I think it's good that this has happened, it took a lot of the talk off of Wie. I can't believe how small the guy is though, he's a foot shorter than the guy interviewing him lol.

It is truly remarkable that a 5 foot guy can shoot a 66 on a pga course.
Also, he missed a 3 foot putt coming in. So it could have been even better.

On his last hole he ripped it about 345 yards, so distance is not an issue.

With his talent, he could achieve great things in golf. He should also prove an inspiration to those who arn't very tall and show them what can be done.

By the way, I doubt he will do very well in the 3rd and 4th round. The excitement will probably have taken quite a bit out of him, so two mediocre rounds are likely.

Figures... always something terribly negative about other players...

Very disappointing, rodney... ver-r-r-ry disappointing.

Nice job Tadd...hopefully he shoots a couple more solid rounds this weekend and leaves the event with some confidence. What a nice story.

Even if he doesn't do well, making the cut at 16 is amazing, and I still can't get over his size. At that age (a whole 3 years ago, lol) I was 6'3 240lb.

I hope not and I don't understand why you'd think that. The pressure is off. He threw if off emphatically with that eagle on the last. It's all gravy from here on out.
