Obviously the thing is bogus...my question is who came up with the idea and is it a sponsored feature? I'd prefer to know the REAL answer and not just mere speculation.
During the Bob Hope Tourney, Mickelson was something like 6 or 7 strokes back after the 2nd round (I think) and the win zone had him as having the 2nd highest chance of winning. ???? Is the computer *?
I can't believe I'm defending that rubbish, but 6 or 7 strokes back with 54 holes to play is nothing at the Hope, especially for the top ranked guy in the field.
perfect example...why the WZ fails...what happens if the weather changes during a tournament....eg fast dry greens become soft and slow...well certain players play different courses different ...but they already have a % calculated on a diffeernt type of course essentially....just another flaw in a flawed concept
