Sure......why not?....I don't think anybody quite knows where his head's at, but maybe the long break gave him time to excorsize his demons and get back on track. We all know he's got the talent, now we just have to wait and see. Personally, I hope he does well. I'd like to see him rebound and have a great year.
he's in the field for the Chrysler Classic, if he plays do you give him any sort of chance?
If Phil can find the fairway he's got a chance to contend. It asking a lot for a guy who hasn't really played since last August, aside from the Ryder Cup, to win the his first tournament back. Most guys on tour when interviewed state it takes while to get back into the mental frame of mind to compete in tournments if they've been away from it for a while.
I agree...and he usually does better in the first half of the season. Having said that, I still have dreams of the end of the U.S. Open, especially of the Callaway execs/CEO probably standing up screaming..."what are you doing?"....and putting an iron through the TV tube (thinking of all the lost revenues they could have had if Phil won another major with Callaway driver).

Philly Mick will be back. Im pulling for the guy. Lets put last year aside and focus on the coming season. Isnt that what the golf headcase gurus say? Dont focus on that last bad shot. Plan the next one and execute.

He's always a good West Coast player. Depends on how fat he's gotten over the off-season though. I could see him consoling himself with ice cream since the U.S. Open last year.
