ill go with Jimenez and Castano. obviously Sergio is a strong pick, but i can't see him winning again just yet.
Very open looking contest with the favourite Retief Goosen at 10/1
I will go for last years winner Chris Di Marco, good each way at 25/1
Let's also chuck in Nick O'Hern as he's very consistent and Marcel Siem as an outsider (125/1)
I like Casey and O'Hern. I have a good feeling about Paul Casey this year. I think '07 is the year he does what most of his followers have always believed he is capable of.
Any good player can win the Abu Dhabi's of the world. These events really do not mean much. It's the majors, WGC's, PLAYERS and other championships whose fields contain the best of the best that Paul Casey must do well in. I think he will this year.
It not difficult, Abu Dubai and the the city Dubai or two different places geografically. It's interesting that this came up. Yesterday I was doing some research on Wikipeda about Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.

Considering the overall quality of the field a win at Abu Dubai can only be a positive not only for a players confidence but his world ranking as well. One of the factors in computing the world golf rankings in the strength of the field in any given tournament. And no, I'm not comparing a win at Abu Dubai with a major win or a WGC win, but any time a golfer can get a win in a tournament with a quality field he deserves his or her props.

The more I watch Casey the more impressed I am with his swing and his overall game. If he can putt well he is definitely going to be in the hunt.

look at that for a leaderboard, full of quality (maybe not to some, but European tour viewers will see it) in the top 20 as one would expect of this field.
poor old Jimenez finished 7, 5 yesterday, but as expected, it didn't hurt him for too long and he came back with 8 birdies and a bogey today, to leave him sitting pretty going into saturday. still as open as it was at the start of the week, im sticking with the Spaniard.

It will be interesting to see who asserts themselves this weekend. I don't see one guy running away with this thing. Sunday's round should be interesting.

it will be a sunday thing, im almost certain of that.
i don't see Jimenez running away with it, but having two good rounds (around 67 or 68s), could well be enough, if someone is going to run away with the title i tip Padraig as it stands at the moment. but it is all backed up by a lot of top players, so it is still anyone's for the taking.
Harrington is a very good front runner. Although there are plenty in contention, if Harrington gets a good start to his fourth round, he could win coming away from the field.
Harrington to get his first win of the season, the first of many wins.
