She is one of those sometimes I look really hot and sometimes I dont look so hot girls, ok I am a pig
I tend to think 'hot' more often than not (but I may be swayed by the fact she looks pretty good AND she golfs...that being a golfer thing adds bonus points)...I guess this is along the same line as Danica Patrick. Maybe not gorgeous, but knowing she drives at Indy at 230 mph is worth serious hot points
As far as Faldo goes, based on his past history with the ladies, should we be surprised if he is being outwardly suggestive???
I have nothing against the two possibly being an item off air...but during the tournament is it too much to ask Nick to look at the camera...tell ME what's going on...not Kelly...she's there she knows what's going on as well as he does...it's ME who's not there, who needs to know...look at me not Kelly...
and please keep the inuendos where they belong..if i wanted to hear that stuff I would watch Sex in the City, not the Golf Channel.

I have to say that if it were Kelly throwing those inuendos towards me, I wouldn't care if we were on Sex in the City, The Golf Channel, heck, even The Weather Channel....just keep 'em flyin'
I don't think that she will jeopardize this great opportunity she has to host PGA tournaments by hooking up with Faldo. She seems to be too smart a person. But, I'm sure she is aware that the sexual tension between the two is going to create publicity, positive or negative, and bring in ratings. Who knows...maybe the producers and execs told them to build that kinda of tension for the ratings of the show. Sex does sell.

You bring up a very good point. I wouldn't be surpised either if the producers told them to "Spice It Up" with some innuendo and playful flirting. I've been behind the scenes of a television production and believe me producers are not above being salicious if they think it spike the ratings.
I think you guys are reading waaay too much into this KT/NF thing. Yeah, Nick is a flirt. And he's sometimes arrogant. Those things aren't ever going to change. That's a part of who he is.
As far as their friendly back-and-forth banter, they're feeling each other out. They're basically trying to be witty, comfortable, and try to let on that this isn't their first rodeo. I think that they both tried too hard to prove these things in the first official telecast, but I see them relaxing a bit more and developing their own styles.
Two weeks ago I wasn't impressed with their initial performances. Two weeks later, I find myself defending them. So I guess they've grown on me the past couple of events.
For you guys wanting to see some type of romantic showdown between the two, keep dreaming. Not gonna happen. ;)

I watched this weeks coverage for the first time this evening and they have improved quite a bit over the past 2 events.
Oh my gosh...don't tell me we have to watch Golf on the Golf Channel!!!
I just called up our cable company today and ordered the Golf Channel and asked my wife to pick up the digital converter box on her way home from work. I spent 2-3 hrs trying to get the doggone remote to work....on hold waiting for tech service....seems like the remote doesn't work....had to go directly to the box to move the Up-Down channel by hand (or rather, by finger).
Golf Channel...don't tell me we have to watch golf on this from now on, PLEASE NO!!
It's so dry. It's all televised from a long distance lenses....you don't here the swish of clubs, the smack of the ball, the swoosh. And the announcers are as dry as saltine crackers without the cheese. Nick Faldo...geesh. The girl announcer asks what do you think about Phil's chances to move to striking distance....(Nick):"well...he's been making birdies and eagles....but his over-pars are deflating his chances to make a move". Yea, I know that. I don't need a PGA tour guy to tell me that....any person off the street can give that type of assessment. It's not the same as the Networked Channel televised golf coverage by a long shot.
Sorry for the rant....but completely un-enthused about the new coverage, even considering we've been burried in ice/snow for over a week now in OK (and you'd think I'd be excited about anything golf).

Yeah, I think you got ripped off...I'd take it back and just not watch golf this year.
League, I thought even Arnold Palmer was better at color-analysis-commentating than Faldo when they had him in the booth for a while the other day.
I think the biggest difference in watching GC vs. network coverage is the lack of 'realism'. Networks had many cameras on the course, you could hear the swoosh of their drivers, the irons ripping through the rough, the realistic roar of the crowds....watching GC is so sanitized for realistic sounds becasue (to me at least) it looks like it's all camera captured from a distance with booth commentating. Difference between standing in the woods listening to wildlife sounds vs. watching Animal Planet with the sound off.
Yea, its all we got....but I don't have to like it.

Yea, Johnny wasn't shy about saying what he thought someone was doing (wrong/right). It looks like the assistant announcer has to pry something out of Faldo, and when she did, it wasn't so much technical analysis from a professional's eye as it was only the most obvious.
Keep in mind that the "network coverage" is usually only on one golf course. The Hope has multiple courses and the Golf Channel probably doesn't have the resources of the major networks to present the "realism" we're used to. I think they're spread a bit thin on this one. I see your point but I'll reserve judgment until I see how they cover Torrey Pines.
Yes and GC is working with a budget based upon Thur/Fri revenue expectations as that is all they'll be covering for most events.
