According to the Digest article, yes there is. Some guy has a formula and makes his living doing it.

Faldo is one of the best announcers/commentators because he is naturally witty and speaks from vast experience. Tilghman doesn't do anything for me, she doesn't have a good voice, she has a solid background in amateur golf but not at the professional level, she is NOT hot, people who say that must have low standards. She cut off some of Adam Scott's hair on-air and said she's going to keep a lock of his hair forever... she's a freak ???

I am glad I missed that . Some 20+ hack flailing away with golf club. Just what the golf world needs.

Amen.

We'll save that for the inaugural Golf Rewind Open next year.

Have to say that after watching my first broadcast by TGC of a tour event, I was far from impressed....It didnt' matter what shot was being played, the background noise was the same. What's with that?? It sounded like a gentle breeze constantly hitting the mic. Tee shot----soft breeze. Bunker shot-- the 'thump' of the club in the sand followed by an unchanging soft breeze. Putting--the sound of the clubface on the ball then the same dang breeze! So annoying....(maybe it was my tv going bad ) It has been stated here already that the coverage wasn't ideal, but if this is the best the coverage gets, my watching golf will be limited this year to the major networks coverage...
