Way too many amateurs. I don't mind showing them a little, but yesterday was ridiculous. We saw Duval and Mickelson hit a few shots and that was about it.
You would think that with the ratings they got last week, the coverage would have been geared more towards the hardcore fan.
It did seem like they spent 1/3 of the time showing amateurs. 10% of the coverage at best should be on the celebrity players. In addition, there was way to much coverage of George Lopez, he was on like every 10 minutes. If you want to draw fans to the TV coverage, get annoying folks like George Lopez off the TV.
I though it was funny what Faldo said when told that Samuel L. Jackson was a 5 handicap - " and I'm an academy award winning actor ". There looks to be quite a few vanity handicaps amongst the celebs.

i caught that too, couldn't help to chuckle at that one.

That's one of the reasons I really don't enjoy watching this tournament and the AT&T Pro-Am. I love Pebble Beach but I hate watching these show-biz and executive hackers.
I also hate it when golf broadcasts are ruined by the antics of attention starved comedians such as Bill Murray, George Lopez and Peter Jacobson. I do not mind to see them in their movies, comedy shows though. But give it a rest when on the golf course, please!
Bill Murray caddied for Scott Simpson (I think) at the Western Open a few years ago. I thought it was actually pretty funny. Although I only saw him on one green.
the golf channel totally gets away from what they promise you, headlines = phil, what we got to see of him = nil, last week they advertised the wie thing, i saw her hit ONE shot in the first day of coverage, they need to do that better
