I don't think that he's "done" at all, he was playing OK up until the final round. But after the hype surrounding his return (after skipping as many events as possible) it doesn't bode particularly well.

He's the guy who is going to play as few events as possible and focus on the majors with course-specific planning. This strategy worked for him before. He doesn't care about Bob Hope Classic. But it's a mediocre finish in a weak-field event and he had numerous inconsistencies along the way, either feast or famine.

Vijay came out on the first event of the season with all guns blazing and dominated an elite field wire-to-wire. That tells you something about who was working during the off-season and who was partying in Bora-Bora.

Anyway, Phil’s head is not right regardless of what he has done over his long break. I predict him going down the Arnie root who also never recovered after his Masters collapse. Lots of Pga wins and many fans but no Majors.

Post #2 - challenge language violation, falsehoods and the sort of troll-like "Phil is Dead " foolishness (it's his 1st event in months) that I've seen on other golf boards today, where they welcome this sort of nonsense. I predict ... no I garauntee that your stay with us will be a short one if this sort of thing is all you have to offer.
