So wheres the new Phil? T45th

Still can’t crack a top 10 since Winged Foot and his worst score in this event. It would take more than losing weight.

Now before anyone jumps on my head over this comment. I'd like to point out that Phil is still ******* in the head. Many said he is over the WF incident, well, last week, he along with his guru Pelz went to practise at Torry Pines for the 2008 US open. The guy needs to sort his head out!

I say he is done! He’d have to fight his way through the hungry young guns likes of Scot, Donald,Casey and of course a Tiger who is more comfortable with his swing and has zero worries about his dads health.

You had your best window of opportunity between 2004 - 2006 Phil. No more!

You will probably get dissenting opinions for your view...that's to be expected. What I'm jumping on your head about is your language...I know you're new here so please peruse the sticky threads at the top of each forum concerning what we expect from you in that regard.

I don't think that he's "done" at all, he was playing OK up until the final round. But after the hype surrounding his return (after skipping as many events as possible) it doesn't bode particularly well.

He's the guy who is going to play as few events as possible and focus on the majors with course-specific planning. This strategy worked for him before. He doesn't care about Bob Hope Classic. But it's a mediocre finish in a weak-field event and he had numerous inconsistencies along the way, either feast or famine.

Vijay came out on the first event of the season with all guns blazing and dominated an elite field wire-to-wire. That tells you something about who was working during the off-season and who was partying in Bora-Bora.

Huh? So if i say someone ******* up. Then I am being profane? It's not like i am using the F word.

Anyway, Phil’s head is not right regardless of what he has done over his long break. I predict him going down the Arnie root who also never recovered after his Masters collapse. Lots of Pga wins and many fans but no Majors.

With all due respect, Done? Heck I'm picking Phil to win The Masters. Pry the U.S. Open too.

Strike two...it means the same thing as the F word when used in that context, right? Right.

You're a bit confused. First off, Arnie never had a Masters collapse, Sunny. Post #1 language violation. Post #2 - challenge language violation, falsehoods and the sort of troll-like "Phil is Dead " foolishness (it's his 1st event in months) that I've seen on other golf boards today, where they welcome this sort of nonsense. I predict ... no I garauntee that your stay with us will be a short one if this sort of thing is all you have to offer. There is already an active thread started today discussing Phil's comeback, status & progress. This one serves no purpose and is now closed.
