I like Els for his swing and dispostition...Bubba redifining the course, Daly because he is a character and Tiger for his freakish intensity.

First off I am new to the forum and really enjoy it. Seems like a great bunch in here.

My favorite golfer is Olin Browne. Living here in Iowa there is not any PGA events near here. We used to have a Ben Hogan/Buy.com/Nike event at Dakota Dunes and I never missed it. I followed Olin around for nine holes the first year he appeared here and seemed like a very cool guy. Well, through the years I really got to know him and he even remembered my name every year.

He is extremely cordial and I root for him every tournament he enters.

My favourites in order:

1) Rich Beem - Loved the book and got a chance to meet him and what an AWESOME guy !!

2) Joh Daly - How great is it to see a guy live his life the way he has and still win 2 majors.

3) Fred Funk - GREAT for golf and a **** of a character and guy on the course.

4) Mickelson - I just like the guy.

5 and on) Joe Durant, Heath Slocum, Bubba Watson and Boo Weekly - All are from where I am and you have to support the home town boys.

Vijay has a great swing and says things like it is. He doesn't play his image to the crowd and cameras like Hefty does.
