I know that to play on this Tour you must be over 50 years of age. But what are the other criteria to gain a playing card on this Tour? Is there a Q School like the other tours? Do you have to finish the previous year within a certain position on the Money List? Where can I find all this information?
If you have no standing from the PGA, you must attend Q School. All this does now is give you the right to Monday qualify. Nine spots are available.
There is no more just showing up and Monday qualifying. It seems they are doing all the can to make it a retirement plan for the PGA, and keep the "Cinderallas" away. I guess that will change once the players who have made plenty on the PGA Tour get there and don't need/want to play.

If only nine spots are available from the Monday qualifier event, what criteria do they use to fill the rest of the field for each event?
Is there an official list of players who do not have to qualify on Monday & will get a spot in the field if they want to play?
There are usually 8 fully exempt spots available thru tour school and another 8 partially exempt. The top 31 money winners from the previous year and top 31 career money winners get in whenever they want to. The tournament sponsor has 4 exemptions to pass out. Then there are 4 to 10 Monday qualifier spots. With this age group there are normally a few medical exemptions from the previous year. All together players who have been pros for awhile have it sewed up. It's sort of an old age fund for them and they guard it quite well. Notice the "no cut" policy, also.
