Lightbulb Emerging talent ???

Looking at the fields for the first three events there are a lot of unfamiliar, not well known, faces on the scene. Who are the players with the best chance of success for 2007?
I will name three for starters. Cameron Beckman, Nick Watney & George McNeill. Any thoughts ?

McNeill is my boy from SW Florida. He played at FSU. We play alot together. He can go low anytime of day. Can he compete against the big boys... Not for 4 straight rounds. He can build a few top 10's maybe...

Watney is a young gun... Doesn't have the game to compete all day long just yet. To many mistakes. Met him a few months ago... Still a party boy.

Beckman is streaky... worst of the three you mentioned. Might have one top 10 if hes lucky.

I am a HUGE Zach Johnson fan... I think he can put up some good numbers this year.

Jason Bohn could do well this year... Steady player. Another Nationwide Tour player graduated...

And... Justin Rose. We all know the name. He worked exclusivly this offseason in Florida for the first time. Usually he goes back to England and works there. Expect him to have a good Florida swing!

Sleeper... Matt Kuchar. We all know the name like Rose, but he is on staff with Bridgestone and has probably done more testing then any other PGA pro out there. A year down at Nationwide might have woken him up.

All the players listed here are going no where, except Justin Rose, who has proved many times he can contend.

and your reason behind that?.
Rose can contend and compete at the top level all day long, but he isn't a great finisher.

It's just proof of the quality of talent on the Nationwide Tour. If a guy is a top 20 player on the Nationwide Tour his game is strong enough to compete with the guys on the PGA Tour.

One guy that I think is REALLY going to be a good player is Micheal Putnam. He had a top ten finish at the Buick Classic in Hartfork last year in his first PGA start and was in contention in the third round.

Nice throw in on Putnam. I have seen him play for about 7 holes. He has the game...

Worried about his brain. I followed, heard things he would talk about on the course, mostly about which chick in the crowd he should take home. Him and his caddy were going at it for 5 holes about whom they saw.

Another one could be Johnson Wagner. Seems to be able to go low, and has had a decent start to his PGA Tour career.

Around the NY area, he dominated in 2002-03, won four MGA "majors" in a row, and they called it the "Johnson Slam"

It's interesting to know what REALLY goes on inside the ropes. Now that would make for a heck of a reality show.

Keep in mind he's young and what do most young guys think about ???????????
