Buick is on CBS here in Indy.... now I am trying to figure out if I want to test drive a Buick for 30 minutes to get the $50 golf merchandise card (if you've been watching the tournament you know what I'm talking about).

Yeah our local had college ball on too. The cable company had an affiliate show the golf.
When the game was over golf came on.

Well, they were running ads yesterday that if you test drive a Buick, you get a $50 golf gift card, but you have to spend it at their site - http://buickqualityadvantage.com/default.aspx?p=terms

It's all Nike stuff (because of Tiger stuff of course) and seems to run a little more than what you can get somewhere else - a box of PowerSoft balls (Buick logo) is $22. But still, can go spend a half hour and get 2 dozen balls. Don't know if I'll do it or not though.

Driving a buick isn't all that bad, we do it everyday. I wish they'd send us 50 a day!

In all honesty though, how much hassle do you think you'll get from the salesmen if you sign up for that promo? Wouldn't be worth it for me!

We had the usual problem that we have this time of year. The golf comes on following the completion of some JUNK-BAG college basketball game. Here it is, 2:59pm. Oh great! There's 6:35 left in this meaningless college basketball game and one team is enjoying a 26-point lead. Come on! STOP FOULING HIM and let the clock run!

I used to get that problem year-round from the Pittsburgh ABC affiliate. The "Big East game of the week" always pre-empted any golf that was on.
