You are probably right, but it is his home. Actually I feel stronger about CH3 than any I listed, though I'll be surprised if Funk does not have a very good showing.

He did put together a nice showing at the Buick Invitational.
Yes ce me he did have a good showing but missed about six or seven 2 1/2 footers or he could have had a top 5 finish. I'm not too concerned about those because he is an exceptional putter.

The only concern about Funk is that the FBR Open has traditionally favored guys who are long off the tee.

Then why did he miss all those putts?

I picked Calcavechia in my golf league, so I gotta go with him.

He's finished top 10 there in 20 some events, plus 3 wins. Also, he's comming off a nice showing from last week. He's a lock.

1. Calcavechia
2. Dimarco
3. Holmes

Because he didn't want to finish ahead of his buddy Bill Putnam. No really he is consistently among the leaders in putts in GIR'S

Yes, I, too, think Ryan is thisclose to busting out. And when he does...watch out!

And Phil is beginning to make me a little nervous. Or nuts. I just wish he'd play smarter golf, especially when he knows he's not clicking on all cylinders.

I was (pleasantly) surprised to see Alejandro Canizares in this event . Although this guy is only 24, he`s already had a win on the European Tour, and he`s regarded as a possible Ryder Cup player next time around...just like his father did four times!

I was miffed to see Alejandro had the last tee-off time off the day (1.20pm) when the greens aren`t at their best, but he finished -3 , and at 360/1 odds he did well! I hope he can play well today, and the jet-lag of his numerous recent travels doesn`t `kick-in`......he`s certainly `one to watch`!

where did you see 360/1?, best i got was 150's at ladbrokes, was going at 100's - 125's in most other places.
he has certainly got the talent to play well (as ive mentioned in other threads), so he may be one to watch for the future.

...before the tournament began he was 360/1 at betfair, london_geeza. Take a look at the prices there ...Hills, Ladbrokes and Corals can`t compete with the prices they are offering. A very clever site/idea....of pitching punters against punters.....! They (the owners) must be making a fortune on that site....hope the punters do too !

ive never gone with betfair mate (although did look into about a year ago), i use Ladbrokes, WH, and Tote. a £210 increase for the £1 cant be a bad thing though.
