Call me sentimental, but my esteem for Lefty went up just a little bit when I read it.

You're absolutely right stryper. GREAT story

. Ever notice how it's the golf community that does more of that and it goes unnoticed or is just kept between the player and the family. Athlete's from all sports could learn a lesson from the PGA TOUR. I know there are people like Phil in all sports that understand the impact they make on the field and the
POSITIVE impact they can make in someone else's life. I always say about those people that they, "Get it." They understand who they are and know that they can help someone out without being asked for a hand out. They are barraged by people asking them to donate money, many are their own family members that are trying to ride their coat tails. It's the one's they hear or read about and through an agent or lawyer make a donation with the soel purpose of helping someone to live a better life.
