Solid round for Tiger today, 70, hopefully the leaders dont get to par ahead and then Tiger will feast on the pressure of being behind on Sunday, to do his best.
After round 3 there is an interesting mix of players in the top 10+:
1 Vaughn Taylor -8
2 Ben Curtis -6
T3 Vijay Singh -5
T3 Tom Lehman -5
T5 Sergio Garcia -4
T5 John Rollins -4
T5 Jerry Kelly -4
T5 Trevor Immelman -4
T5 Shaun Micheel -4
T10 Bo Van Pelt -3
T10 Tiger Woods -3
T10 Retief Goosen -3
T10 Paul Casey -3
T10 Rocco Mediate -3
T10 Chris Couch -3
T10 Stephen Ames -3
Given the difficult conditions, anything should be possible on Sunday: I will be watching!
Wanna play pick the winner at this advanced stage in the tournament? I pick Vijay for the win!
He's riding on the -6 first round he shot, and is a measley +2 the last 2 rounds. Vaughn has a final round average of over 74, so I don't expect him to stay with the pack today.
2) John Rollins -1
He had a nice start, but struggled yesterday and I don't see him matching up with the other calibur of players in the field.
Top 5-
1 Vijay Singh -8
2 Ben Curtis -7
T3 Tiger Woods -6
T3 Trevor Immelman -6
5 Sergio Garcia -6

I'd like to see Rocco pull it off!! Reality dictates otherwise. Rollins is becoming a serious contender. VJ is always a threat, as is Goosen. Taylor's Sunday average is 74-- which means he convinced himself he is a winner, yet. Casey probably cannot recover from the hole he and Rocco put themselves in yesterday (day three), but Woods can (need I say it?).
In short-- this makes for an awesome Sunday on the living room couch Hope my wife is self preoccupied.
Ahhhh, I haven't checked this thread until now because I thought there was another tournament actually called the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Then it struck me that this is the place for Bay Hill discussion. You will all have to excuse me as I don't get to see the vast majority of PGA Tour events here, either.

They renamed it this year. Still the same course at Bay Hill. Arnold is only the 2nd player to have a PGA tournament named after him (Byron Nelson being the 1st).

RICHIE Ramsay's eagerly awaited debut at Bay Hill among the world's leading players on the US PGA Tour today has been thwarted by an extraordinary administrative mix-up.
The Aberdonian, who became the first Scot in 108 years to win the US Amateur championship, was a grateful recipient of an invitation from the organisers of the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando. Delighted to accept, the 23-year-old student at Stirling University flew out to Florida last week to prepare for the $5.5 million event.
However, alarm bells began to ring on Tuesday when Ramsay's name didn't appear in the draw for today's first round. When further enquiries were made, it transpired the PGA Tour had not received the necessary paperwork from the player which would enable him to compete in the event.
Since the deadline for handing in the required forms had already passed, the Tour felt it had no option but to tell the young Scot he wouldn't be playing with Tiger Woods & Co this week. With Ian Rae, the Scottish Golf Union's national coach, working in Australia this week, it turned out to be impossible to change the minds of the organisers at Bay Hill and Ramsay was left feeling frustrated.
"I'm disappointed not to be playing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational," he admitted yesterday. "But am grateful to have received an invitation to the event. I will now use this time to concentrate on my preparations for the Masters as well as looking forward to playing in the Georgia Cup at the end of this month."

Mm Hmm, very un-Tiger-like, no? How often have you seen Tiger start a tournament well and finish like that? Is that a swing problem or a mind problem? Who knows what's going on in the world of Mr. Woods, but I'd be willing to bet that he gets it together by Green Jacket day :).
