By the way I'm European, but not Spanish.
I agree, but at least he wasn't chewing tobacco at the time.

I actually have no beef with the guy. I like his play and spirit. He's young and will most probably refine a bit with age. I just think his outfits look like a carnival ride. I have always admired Parnevik-- he pulls it off with style. Sergio, however, lately looks ridiculous. That red WWF outfit he wore last Friday (?) was offensive. And the final round orange and blue matching cap was a joke-- what the hey-- I'm no fashion plate but you've got to be kidding me.

The red and black was one the best outfits since the yellow at the brittish......Serigo personality is loud and in your face.....so why should his outfits be any different....just having a tread about what he is wearing is giving him more power.....Now if the guy could ever get a putter going within 5 feet maybe we could be talking about his wins.....but the guy has proven his self in match play situations and I would take serigo over tiger anyday in a match play situation.

Sergio needs to sack all involved with his latest outfits. I don't mind seeing some colour on the tour but he has gone overboard. He looks so good when he dresses in a conservative manner. Bloody good golfer though and I expect 3 top10's in the majors this year.

there is a definite line between fashion (Ian Poulter, I guess or Charles Howell with tight t-shirts), but Sergio looks like a Doug Sanders wannabe that would fit in perfectly at an old folks home - if he starts wearing black socks with loafers and shorts, he will have made the transition nicely.

I don't mind bright colors, but your hat matching your shirt that matches your pants, looks ridiculous.

As far as the spitting goes, he got caught being himself. You can say what you want about the Spaniard emotion, but this was punk-move and he got busted on camera. He was already dealing with a rep as being a whiner and never hitting a bad shot or putt that was his fault, so this will not help his image. The only good thing I can say about him right now, is at least he is in humorous commercials with attractive women!

Check the Ryder Cup stats, Match play at its highest level and Tiger does not compare to Serigo...Even though Its hard to swallow a american loss Tiger needs to step up in Ryder Cups

Sergio plays well in team events....a one on one with Tiger Woods and he'd get his rear end handed to him.

Sergio beat Tiger in one of those primetime TV events. Of course, Tiger was suffering fromt he flu and Sergio was actually pretty good back then. You're right, nowadays, Tiger would stomp him.

Tiger looks like he going to throw up in all of those primetime events. The pained look on his face is great.

Talk about looking sick, David Toms (of whom I am a fan) looked petrified at the Ryder Cup. Maybe he drank too much Guiness and was hungover, but he did not look good!

I also think that Tiger would handily beat Sergio in a one-on-one match, outside of a team event.

Sergio really seems to thrive in team events such as the Ryder Cup for example. And that makes me think: Is there any way that he can 'manage' his 'individual play situation' to give himself a boost when competing individually?? I am not sure what sort of team Sergio has around him when he plays solo events, but I think it might really help him if he had a caddy with whom he has a really close relationship (if he doesn't already), and/or a close-knit bunch of personal trainers, sports-psychologists, nutrionists, fitness trainers etc. accompanying him to the events, and/or an entourage of family and friends.
