My masters Qualifications Proposals
This is still in mind with keeping the size under 100.
1. Lifetime for Masters Champions (if stil too, large, 10 years per Masters...Z.Johnson 10 years, Mickelson 20 years, Player 30 years, Woods, 40 years)
2. Winner of the U.S. Open, British Open, and PGA (5 years)
3. Winner of the Player's Championship (3 years)
4. Winner and semi-finalist of U.S. Amateur
5. Winner of other select amateur events (British Amateur, U.S. Publinks, NCAA Championship..Take out Mid Amateur...never made the cut)
6. Top 16 and ties in 2007 Masters
7. Top 2 and ties in 2007 U.S. Open, British Open, and PGA (all majors shoudl be equal outside the Masters and 4th in a major is not as good as a quality PGA win)
8. Winner of PGA events with full credit towards the Fed Ex Cup (Interesting to see what happens if Fed Ex Cup fizzles)
9. Top 30 on 2007 PGA money list. (get rid of Fed Ex particpants...Most of them would still finish in top 30 anyways)
10. Top 50 on World Rankings as of week before the Masters (get rid of World rankings on Dec. 31 and sepcial foreign invitations...Qualifications 11-15 should take care of this)
11. Top 15 on 2007 European Tour Order of Merit
12. Top 2 on 2007 Japanese Tour Order of Merit
13. Top money winner on 2007 Australian Order of Merit
14. Winner of 2007 Australian Open
15. Winner of select European events (2007 BMW Championship, 2007 Barclay's Scottish Open, 2007 Volvo Masters, 2008 Dubai Desert Classic)
8.
