Top Ten Things I Can Say Now That I've Won The Masters

Last night Zach Johnson delivered the Top Ten on the Late Show with David Letterman:
  1. I'm going to spend the prize money on Mountain Dew and beef jerky
  2. I once beat a caddy to death with a 7-iron
  3. It's so weird -- before this weekend, I'd never broken 100
  4. The jacket's okay, but I'm most excited to win the "World's Greatest Golfer" key chain
  5. Even I've never heard of me
  6. If you like golf, you'll love the sleek looks and smooth handling of the 2007 Volkswagen Golf Sedan -- I just made 50 grand
  7. I just wrote down "3" for every hole. Nobody checked
  8. Maybe I can parlay this into an appearence on "Dancing With The Stars"
  9. It's a magical week: first I win the Masters, and now I get to tell lame jokes on a third-rate talk show
  10. Thanks to global warming, next year I'm playing without pants

Maybe it's just me but they don't seem very funny to me. I think numbers 5, 8 and 9 are the best.

Zach did a good job with the deadpan delivery. Although now that I think about it, maybe that was no act...

Does anyone know whether Zach came up with those himself? Or do the guests typically get some help, if not the entire list, from Letterman and his team.

Letterman does not even write the top tens list anymore it is all done by his writers.

Only found a few of the jokes funny, but I've become a fan of Zach Johnson over the past few few days...sounds like a great guy who has his priorities where they should be.

By the way, IMO Jay Leno is way better than Letterman!

I vote for Dave. Jay's chin is distracting.
