In honor of Boo Weekley's first win, an appropriate poll:

You have some hilarious options there, for all kinds of reasons. I went with who I think may be the real deal: Boo Weekley.

I tend to agree, both as a golfer and a redneck. That good ole boy has some game!

In the coming weeks expect lots of stories about 'alligators blowing up on the porch during hurricanes' and 'boxing orangutans at the county fair'.

David Duval. He was watering the greens with tobacco juice long before anyone knew what a "Boo" was.

I went with John Daly. He's one of my favorite golfers. I enjoyed his reality show when I could watch it, I think it was called the "Daly Planet?" Wish he would be more competitive these days.

he can be, he needs to shorten the swing by about 18ft, and lose those 2 spare children he's hiding under his shirt. IE about 150lbs lol. i like him too. great to watch.

So what kind of pass does being from Wisconsin and being active in the community ear someone exepmtion of redneck status. I have been to 42 of the 50 states, 2 providences in Canada, Brazil, Columbia, Germany, Italy, Scotland, England, and all over Asia, and there are rednecks everywhere. You do not have to be from the south to be a redneck, also rednecks are some of the most active and vocal members of their communities. It burns me up that people think rednecks only live in the southern US. Wisconsin is a dairy state, you can bet your new driver their are rednecks in Wisconsin.

Wow, did you travel for all of those places for recreation or for something else? I wonder how many states I've visited.

Work mostly, some vacations but 98% work. Like I have been in South Korea at the second largest shipyard working since 3/12. Return home on the 28th, can't wait longest service trip I have been on.

Well I would have put all 5 cheeseheads in the poll - J.P. Hayes, Skip Kendall, Steve Stricker, and Mark Wilson are the other touring pros from the badger state - but our board polls are limited to 10 choices.
