Looks like he will be hard-pressed to make the minimal 15 events for PGA tour membership (if they even have that requirement). Of course, an exception may be made for him.
Looks like he may not even win the Vardon again. He would have to play another event, since the Match Play doesn't even count to have 60 rounds and would have to make the count in each one.
Like Tiger needs another week off. He's only played in 5 events and this will make only 1 event in 5 last 5 weeks.

Tiger always plays around 20 events a year. When its closer to the US Open he'll get really stuck in
Perhaps the earlier disagreement between Woods and the PGA Tour has affected how many events he plays in?

I doubt it, since he's scaled back before this rift. They've catered to him with the Fed ExHe has scaled backed his schedule more than usual in the West Coast (skipping LA and the T oc C). He has played 3 of 4 events in the Florida swing before the Fed Ex Cup, and has only played twice. While the purpose of the Fed Ex Cup was to get Tiger and Phil more involved, it has apparently backfired on the part of Tiger.
It would be good for the PGA if he did. If you are correct, it means he will play in 15 more events and with him probably skipping his tournament and the Buick in Michigan as well as maybe the British or U.S. (if the baby comes then), I don't see it. It is questionable about him playing in Wachovia, Bridgestone (week before the PGA), and Barclays (first playoff event of the Fed Ex Cup). He also doesn't plan to play in any of the fall finish events. Can you think of 15 events for the remaining year? I don't see that happening. It looks like he will be hard pressed to play 10 more.

I forgot that he has only played 5 events this year. Upon consideration, you are right I cannot see him playing 15 more events this year. Perhaps he'll play 12 or 13 overall, and still claim the Money Title & FedEx Cup! That truly would be awesome
