Anthony Kim

I just found out he was the runner up to Casey Watabu in last year's Public Links Championship. He left college early to go pro, and it looks like he has his tour card locked for next year. It would be interesting to see what would have happened if he won the Public Linsk Championship and had a Master's Invitation. Would he have stayed in school for his last year, so he could compete in the Masters?

He turned pro last fall and finished T2 at one of the fall tournaments in Texas. He already has his card locked up I believe (hes had 3 top-10's in a row now I think, maybe more). I'd be extremely surprised if he doesn't win this year. He's expected to be the next young gun (broken record), but I believe he has the talent.

Interesting thought you bring up. If I were him, I would have turned pro even with the Public Links win and the Masters invite. He'd basically have to give up this whole season just to play in the Masters this year as an amateur. If I were in his position, I would have had that confidence that I would be able to qualify for the Masters sometime in the future.

I wonder if there are any interviews asking him what he would have done.
