I've been to an LPGA Tour event. I think it's worth going to since no matter how you put it, they're probably better than you and you can learn a lot from that.

Re: CN Canadian womens OPEN

I attended the SBS Open a couple of years back. I thought it was a really good experience. Things are a lot more "casual" than at a PGA Tour event. You can talk to a lot of the players and they're really friendly. I don't even think there were ropes blocking the driving range on practice round days.

Also, I think it really motivated me that I could get a lot better. When I watch the PGA Tour players play, I get the feeling that I'll just never be able to hit the ball like they do. The LPGA Tour players are impressive, too. I think for the SBS Open, they played from tees that measured 6,500 or 6,600 yards and they can all shoot great scores. The difference is, when I look at the female players, they're also flat out better than I am but I don't see any reason why I can't play like them.

Re: CN Canadian womens OPEN

You don't want to miss it. LPGA events are really prety nice. I have found in the past that the players are friendly and know how to play the game. Royal Mayfair ( I had a chance to see the course 1998) is the perfect track for Michelle Wie and all the LPGA players to showcase their talents as well. Besure to arrive early and the par 3 tees are usually great viewing spots.
