Re: 2007 PLAYERS' Championship - Official thread

I just read the following article on Sean O'Hair.

PGATOUR.COM - O'Hair goes for it, pays the price and already has moved on

Says that he was trying to win the tournament and the money didn't matter to him. #17 sure cost him a lot of money but I like the attitude.

thats good, though. with an attitude like that, he'll be in the winners circle much more often. you have to accept the fact that you can't win them all, not even if your name is Tiger. I have always been a fan of O'Hair and now i'm more of a fan.

good going Sean!

O'Hair is one of the players that I like to see come up on the leaderboard. His history with his father has been publicized a lot and I remember a few threads on that here on this forum. Good to see an attitude like that and hope to see him contending much more.

Thanks for passing that on Grape! Really good piece there! I was rooting for Sean even though I am a Phil fan. The guys story is compelling and his grit is endearing. He is a class act and one I'd like to see do well. He doesn't strike me as the kind who will crumble when the pressure is on, especially with his support group. He reminds me of Zach with his grit, but with more game.

I can kinda relate to Sean. My dad and i don't exactly get along as well, but my step-dad and i get along great. he's always encouraging versus my dad, who thinks my wanting to get into the golf industry is "a waste of time and not a real job"
