He'll definitely be FUN to watch as his already struggling game has to deal with the PENAL layout of Oakmont. Golf is based so much on confidence , which Tiger is showing signs of losing. In his swing that is.
We'll see......

Reason: sp.
I saw on the Golf Channel yesterday that Tiger played another practice round there. Said he would probably hit a lot of stingers and 3 and 5 woods off the tee.

Are you being serious?? Dont be silly. Everyone plays bad once in a while, even the best golfer in the world. So dont start jumping to conclusions that hes loosing his confidence. Hes the most confident golfer in the field when he plays, his mental stability and atmospheric pressure when people are paired with him.
Someone who can consistently keep it in the fairway. I heard that Tiger played another practice round and was using his 3 and 5 wood, along with his two iron, off the tee. The driver rarely saw the light of day.
I would have to give the nod to Phil, except if Tiger keeps the driver in the bag. Zach Johnson would also be a good pick (he may not hit it long, but is very accurate and is a good ball striker and putts well).
