I don't think golf media has necessarily regressed in the last 10 years but if it has, I think Steve Duemig of the Grey Goose 19th Hole is largely to blame for that.

No, if all they covered were Tiger, Michelle Wie (still haven't figured that one out yet), and Daly, I would change the channel, or otherwise tune out.
As much as I enjoy watching Tiger play at times, they are just way too up his behind. It's ridiculous. I watched a lot of this past weekend's tournament and there were a lot of other players making way better shots than Tiger. That's what I would rather see.
It's all sensationalizing. That's all it is these days. They aren't interested in just honest straightforward reporting, they have an agenda. And that includes hyping players for ratings.
