Creamer is the future star of the LPGA (IMHO). Now that her wrist has healed from last year, she is playing pretty consistent golf.
I like Pressel and maybe now that she has found a replacement driver that she can hit, maybe we'll see a good finish at the LPGA.
Lincicome is exciting to watch. She has scaled back her distance this year and it has helped her find the short grass more often, which seems to be helping. If her short game catches up to the tremendous long game she has. She is also playing with alot of confidence.
Nina-No (whatever her name is)? She admits her nerves are a problem
Angela Park - first time in contention.
Suzann Pettersen - will she win this major now she has an LPGA under her belt. She looks like a bundle of nerves.
Karrie Webb - probaby the favorite.
Morgan Pressel - chance to win another major. 2 LPGA wins, 2 majors?
Kim Saki-Maloney - veteran who's won a few times.
Lorena Ochoa - best player not to win a major
What about Britttany Lincicome, Nicole Castrale (both at -5 as well as Ochoa), Annika Sorenstam, Paula Creamer (both at -4). -4 may be enough to be in contention.
Seems to me it is Suzann's tourney to win. I cannot see any way Na - who has been on tour for less than 2 months? - will be able to handle the Sunday pressure of a major.
Karrie and Morgan are within striking distance, and if it gets really wacky crazy tomorrow, I suppose Lorena, Brittany, Annika or Paula could pull off a miracle (not likely).
Very nice mix of proven highly ranked players along with several suprises. Too bad for Birdie Kim (40 on the back 9), who probably will always be regarded as a fluke US Open winner.
Looking forward to the final day.

these lpga events seem to be pretty wide open. i know it's not going out on a limb but i think i'd have to go with karrie with all of the experience or pressel having just won the kraft nabisco. then again, you'd never think a person who's only played 6 professional events like na on min would be in the final group on sunday.
HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. -- Hardly anyone recognized the name Na On Min on the leaderboard, and even more surprising was the number of birdies she strung together Saturday at the LPGA Championship.
LPGA Championship scores
1. Min (-10)
2. Pettersen (-9)

When the 18-year-old from South Korea finished a 7-under 65, she was poised to make a name for herself in the record books.
Playing in only her sixth professional tournament and her first major championship, Min ran off four birdies on the last seven holes for the best round this week at Bulle Rock, giving her a one-shot lead over Suzann Pettersen and a chance to become the youngest major champion in LPGA Tour history.
Min didn't even learn to play golf until she was 12..............
Congrats to Suzann Pettersen. She gave one away at the Kraft Nabisco, but bounced right back in the next major.
Awesome job by Na On Min. 3 straight bogies on the front side seemed to knock her out, but what a run on the back 9, making birdies at 13, 14, 15 and 16. Solo third, pretty amazing stuff from an 18 year old. Talk about coming out of nowhere! She didn't start her LPGA career until the Corona Championship tournament 6 weeks ago. Wow.
