2007 US Womens Open
So..
Who is going to get their hands on the trophy ?
I gotta put my faith in Suzann on this one, this is more patriotic than anything ofcourse, but with her season so far, a win wouldnt be to surprising.
Other than that, Sorenstam will ofcourse offer the toughest competiton along with Ochoa.
And Wie... Are there any bettingsites that offer bets on making cut or not ?

For the first time ever in the US Womens Open, there are more international players than Americans.
You can never discount Annika at a major, even in a winless injury plagued season.
I'll be rooting for Mi Hyun Kim. Very solid year so far, hits it straight, and putts lights out.

Ochoa of course, but hope Pressell and Creamer will play very well. My bet is that Wie will easily miss the cut.

Let's hope not. I think I would prefer Creamer or Gulbis.

Of the players at the top, I think Morgan Pressel is going to take it. She already took the first major of the year and I think she has the mental game to close this tournament out. Lorena Ochoa is right where she wants to be. Will just to see if she can close the deal.

Re: 2007 US Womens Open
Slightly off-topic, I just read a Golf Channel article that states Lorena Ochoa just got signed to an equipment article:
Quote:
SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. -- Lorena Ochoa might have been the only No. 1 player in golf without an equipment deal, although it was not as simple as signing on the dotted line.
The Mexican star already had endorsement deals that occupied the front of her hat (Banamex), her golf bag (Aeromexico) and her shirt (LaCoste), three of the best billboards for a golfer. Ping still managed to work out a deal Tuesday.
Ochoa, who has been playing Ping equipment for the last 10 years, finally will get paid to use it under a multiyear agreement that varies slightly from most Ping contracts. Terms were not disclosed.
It also goes on to state that the Womens British Open will be played at the Old Course at St. Andrews this year.
