Buick Open Wrap-Up
Greetings ....
Let me extend my congratulations to Brian Bateman on a very nice win at the 2007 Buick Open. I for one appreciated the fact that we had a winning score in the mid-270's on a par-72 course, and that so many different players were all "right there" for much of the final nine. Let's hear it also for Jason Gore, Justin Leonard and Steve Elkington, who each had great finishes for the first time in a while. 2007 Buick Open Final Scores and Earnings from YAHOO! Only a $4.9-million purse after a run of several $6.0 million-or-more events, with the $6.0-million AT&T National to follow? Hmmmm! Congrat to Bateman and Gore....I dont think Gore has a sponsor which is unbelievable....

Destroke2 - if you mean Sponsor's Exemption, Gore didn't need one as he is a 2005 PGA Tour winner. However, Gore has now earned earned money to secure 2008 status without a victory.

Jason Gore and Nike apparently had a parting of ways. He is, indeed, without an OEM sponsorship at the moment.
