Yeah I just went to the AT&T National Pro-Am yesterday and got
Geoff Ogilvy, very nice, signed probably the most autographs out of anyone
Aaron Baddeley, also very nice to the fans, signed numerous autographs, also held someone's child for a picture.....
Brett Wetterich, very cool and responsive to the crowd, busted my balls for being lazy and sitting down
Ben Curtis, signed a bit and talked to the crowd in a nice manner
Bubba Watson, signed a lot and was very cool, me and this little boy asked him to take driver out at the short par 4 8th.......he took out and iron and said just kidding and whaled a driver ten yards in front of the green, very cool
Jim Furyk, very gracious, nice to the kids, really class guy
Dean Wilson, just signed to sign, it seemed like, no real interaction
Mike Weir, cool and laid back, although his autograph pretty bad
Billy Andrade, signed and went about his business, thought he'd be a little nicer
Adam Scott, same as andrade
Charles Warren, very nice and talkative
Rod Pampling, very responsive and gave the crowd some good attention
Stuart Appleby, also very nice and responsive, talked amongst the crowd
Vijay Singh, signed a few, joked around with his amatuer partners quite a bit, talked about Tom Pernice and how pernice was gonna slow play him yesterday, weird humor those two had
Arron Oberholser, nice with the crowd, talked a little
Tom Pernice Jr., like i said earlier, weird humor, told a kid to get the autograph of the "black man" coming up behind him, meaning Vijay, I thought that was weird
Brett Quigley, just signed and went along his business.
To be fair they were all preparing for a tournament, so I figure most of them would be a little stiff. Some were really cool, and signed stuff to be really nice, and others signed just to sign. Other than that, it was a very fun experience again.
Only time I sought an autograph was at a US Open practice round at Oakland Hills. My mom had just had bypass surgery and couldn't make it. Bought her a hat, and then lucked out by getting all the guys in the group I was following to sign it:
Jack Nicklaus
Tom Watson
Tiger Woods
What I remember most about that was Tiger signed more stuff than anyone I saw all week. At the time he was the 2-time defending US Am champ.
I also remember hoping Woody Austin, the fourth, didn't mess it up for me when he was standing next to Jack (they would often hand stuff to each other).
Anyway, was a big thrill for mother when I went to visit her that night.

Reason: you got too much time on your hands shaderunner :)
I got Arnold Palmer and Lee Trevino to sign 8x10's at Administaff Small Business Classic 2 years ago. Stadler, Kite, Watkins, Dent, Irwin, Crenshaw.
I have Vijay, Couples, CH3, Elkington, Leonard, Toms, Loren Roberts, Olazabal, Clarke, Todd Hamilton, Jacobson, Axley, Crane, Damron, Glover, Tway, Frazar, Bohn, Maruyama, Padraig Harrington, and bunches more, mostly guys that come to Shell Houston Open. I have a flag signed by about 30 guys from last years Funai Classic at Disney.
I took my son (4) to the Shell this year and he wanted to get a flag signed, so he got about 20 including Harrington, Toms, Elkington. Brandt Snedeker and Parker McLachlin went out of there way to make him feel special - not only did they sign his flag, but gave him golf balls, and signed gloves, high fives and talked to him like a friend. There are a lot of really good guys on Tour.
My wife and I went to Administaff 3 years and had gotten some signatures, and were walking back to the parking lot when we saw Palmer drive up. He smiled and gave that signature thumbs up. He parked about 5 spots from where we were walking, so we waited for him. He took a while gathering and selecting his clubs for the day while his security "entourage" gathered.
They brought him a cart and once he loaded up, he drove right up to us and waved. My wife asked if he would sign, and the security guards, quickly jumped in front of her. He stopped and told them that she didn't look too dangerous and waved her over. He looked at the course map (what she had gathered signatures on) and said "look at how messy these signatures are! How can you tell what they say?" As he looked at the names you could see him kind of chuckle to himself and then he finally said, "wow, I have played with some of these guys for a really long time!"
He ended up signing his name very neatly and deliberately and offered her a handshake and a thank you for attending the tournament. Just one more verification that he is truly the class act that he appears to be on TV.

Wow, nice group to get to sign a hat! Hope that didn't send your mother in for a relapse.

What do you guys do with your autographs? I got a couple of autographs but then I don't really have anywhere to display them. So I started wearing the hats I had autographs on and actually lost one with Ernie Els autograph on it.
Well my dad went to i think the buick i was sick or busy or something i was young so i dindnt think much of it.He met adam scott and said he was a really nice guy sat there talked to my dad signed a hat for me.I met Lee Elder at my local club and at the bucik one year and got his autograph.A tigerwoods one too.

Huge thrill for her. She stuck it on her trophy case, next to the 9 club champ trophies she won.
Doesn't have the energy anymoe to do more than hit balls or play a pitch an putt, but loves the game, and those were three are hero # 2, 3 and 4 (nobody replaces the King).

yea, my mom got hit by one of tiger's drives last year in the leg, he gave me and her gloves autographed and even talked for a second while his partner was hittin
My list is too long to type. 2 authograph books almost full.
Jack, Arnie and Gary for starters. Henry Cotton, Robert Di Vincenzo, Peter Alliss (of course, close friend) Open Champion 2007 Padraig Harrington, Lee Trevino, Bobby Locke, Dai Rees, Phil Mickleson ... etc etc.
Many of them are friends or aquaintances. Hoping to chat to Gary later on this week. Saw Jack on Thursday
Thomas Levet gave me one of their balls at the Oakland Hills Ryder Cup and himself and Miguel Angel Jiminez have autographed it for me.
Was leaving out Seve, Bernhardt, Olazabal , Tony Jacklin, Bernard Gallacher, Sam Torrence, Tom Lehman, Zinger Tom Weiskopf, Tom Watson
Get well letter from Barbara Nicklaus before my radiation therapy
Half my problem with auographs is that hey have become friends and I forget to get them to 'sign in'.
