He's already the most recognizable athelete in the world, well spoken, family man, respectful and handles 100 reporters with ease. Not a bad resume.
This week he's hosting his own PGA tournament, the AT&T National (with over 800 media reps showing up) and kicked it off July 4th with a patriotic bang befitting a president.
The Air Force Silent Drill Team put on a display, a Navy band played "God Bless America" ,soldiers from the Wounded Warriors Project flanked the first tee, Green Berets from Fort Bragg in dress uniform, Former President George H.W. Bush, four Black Hawk helicopters appeared on the horizon and executed a fly by over the first hole and the list goes on.
Even if Tiger had what it takes to be president, I doubt he'd want the job. He's in the spotlight a lot as the top golfer in the World but I doubt he'd want more attention.
There is the problem. Who would want to give up a life of playing beautiful golf courses and being the most dominant player in their sport? Let alone, to go be president.
I'd rather continue to see him play golf because he is so fun to watch.
