Wie did pretty good today in the first round. She's in 23rd, well ahead of a bunch of big names. We'll see how she holds up for the rest of the week. It'll be interesting to see if she gets motivated by a good round. I agree she's appeared to be less than enthusiastic lately.

i wanna see her play today on the coverage if thats gonna be possible, because I really like her game shes exciting, her consistency struggles but I do think she has a chance at being the best

Has anyone read the article on her in Golf Digest? She'll turn 18 this year 10/11, where she will also receive her trust fund...as what Golf Digest said.

Golf Digest also stated that her parents are currently shopping for a home near Stanford. Whether this is true or not, I hope the kid has fun as a Freshman in College.
