I don't think it's anyone on tour right now. There are rumors of a few up and comers so maybe it's one of them. Why are we so eager to see the end of Tiger? Personally I can't get enough of watching him play.
Tiger will be around for more than 8 to 13 years. Vijay won majors after 40, and Tiger is in a lot better physical shape than Vijay is. Jack Nicklaus, same boat... Tiger will still be a threat in major championships after he's 45 years old.
As far as the next big thing in golf, there may not be anyone ready to take over for Tiger. Maybe it'll go back to being anyone's game. Look at the pre-Tiger era. Nick Faldo, Nick Price, Greg Norman, Ernie Els, etc... all had their time at the top before fading slightly.
i reakon jason day will do very well he got his 1st win on the nation wide tour the other week and will b good on the pga tour i cant wait to watch him he is australias best am
in who will b the nex tiger i donno in my opinion i think there will be a lot of different winners and the world number 1 will only b a few pts clear just my opinion
Whoever it is,it will probably be someone we have yet to thear of. to be honest i hope no one dominates the game again,it gets to boring and predictable after a while.
my nephew vince will, shot a 69 against me, that little bugger, he swings it so on plane, his short game is tour level IMO if he could get more accurate with the longer clubs he'd be shooting 5, 6 under hahah, couple years he will burst onto the scene hes only 16

My question mark concerning Tiger is after he beats Jack's record, how much drive will he continue to have? The other issue will be his oldest child will be a teenager. I am giving him until 40-45 to dominate (he may still win a major occasionally), because I don't know if he can keep that drive. The sooner Tiger passes Jack's record, the sooner he may slip in his desire.

I am inclined to agree. I am just asking who has the best chance of dominating the 2020's or the last part of the 2010's. It could be players 5 or 10 or more years younger than Tiger depending on when he loses his edge. I don't see him being dominant by the time he's 45.
I don't think the guy or the girl hasn't been born yet or about to be born. Tiger might still set the age record at Masters. One more Jack's record would be in jeopardy..
