Re: fed ex cup help

all about points, 4500 points if you win in regular season, 9,000 points in the playoffs, basically anyone inmside top 144 has a chance of winning the TEN MILLION DOLLARS

Re: fed ex cup help

Ha, but even if you win it, golfpro12, you don't get 10 mil in your pocket, unless you are already retired. Because the award isn't a check, it is an annuity that you cannot access until you are at least 45 years old, and cannot get full access until you are 65.

Which does raise a very valid question in my mind, normally caddies are paid 10% of the pro's winnings... how does the caddy get 10% of an annuity?

They call it a $10M 'compensation package'. I do not know the exact details, but something about that prase tells me that the winner might not end up with all of the $10M in his pocket immediately.
